Company Profile

Taylor Riley is an independently-owned firm of chartered surveyors based in Ashford, Kent's main growth point and home to the Channel Tunnel International Passenger Station.

The firm was established in 1987 as a general practice firm of surveyors and valuers, committed to providing sound, professional advice on a wide range of property matters. We now list several national and local companies and local authorities amongst our clients. The directors, staff and consultants have extensive experience of a wide range of property-related issues.

Taylor Riley Limited consists of three directors:

Michael Taylor FRICS, who was previously a partner in a regional firm of surveyors and estate agents, has many years' experience of commercial property. He specialises in all aspects of commercial work both agency and professional matters. Clients include local authorities and NHS Trusts, CTRL UK, various plc companies and local businesses.

Richard Stafford MRICS has 20 years of commercial property experience in Ashford and Kent. He specialises in all aspects of commercial property work including agency valuation and management.

William Geering BSc MRICS has returned to Ashford following a number of years working for a large firm of Chartered Surveyors in Central London. He is responsible for residential professional work as well as property management and general commercial agency.

In 2005 the firm was awarded ISO9000:2000 accreditation for quality assurance.

We are founder members of the Ashford Construction Focus Group (ACFG), a new business development group launched by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce to ensure that Kent businesses involved in construction play a significant role in the future growth of Ashford and throughout Kent.
